Some wedding days stay with you long after the photos are taken. Saturday was one of those days.
I spent ten incredible hours documenting every part of Mark and Echo’s love story. The morning began at Just Teasin’ in Carson City where Echo and her bridesmaids were surrounded by curling irons, laughter, Halloween socks, and cozy flannels. It felt like the kind of morning you wish you could bottle forever. Joyful. Relaxed. Filled with anticipation.
From there we arrived at A Little Patch of Heaven which could not have been a more fitting place for this celebration. The trees were painted in autumn colors. The air was crisp. Michigan gave us a perfect fall day that wrapped every moment in magic.
Mark and Echo put their hearts into every detail. You could see their personalities in the decor and feel their love everywhere you looked. Their wedding party made sure that Echo was supported, comfortable, and constantly smiling. Chelsea spent time capturing Mark and his groomsmen and I know she caught some amazing memories too.
Some of the most emotional parts of the day happened before the ceremony even started. Echo shared a first look with her bridesmaids and it was impossible not to feel the love surrounding her. Then came the moment she saw Mark. The way his face lit up as he turned to see his bride is something I will never forget. Their embrace said everything they were feeling. Excitement. Gratefulness. A forever kind of love.
Echo then shared a first look with her dad and every person nearby felt that moment. The pride in his expression, the way he held her close, the quiet pause before letting go. Moments like that are what make wedding days so special. They remind us that love builds us, raises us, and stays with us through every new chapter.
The ceremony was beautiful from start to finish. When Mark and Echo looked at one another there was something so genuine and full of gratitude. That kind of love is rare. Their vows, their first kiss, the pride in their families eyes. Every moment had a weight that only true love carries.
After the ceremony and the family photos, we headed to a horse farm just up the road. I think these photos speak for themselves!
Then the celebration began. The music, the cheers, the dancing, the special family traditions, and the way guests came alive around them. The energy was unmatched and the love between these two lit up the room. They never stopped looking at each other as if the entire world existed inside that stare.
There was also a deep sense of meaning woven into the day. I went to school with Echo’s brother and knew him well. Losing him far too soon is something that has touched so many hearts. Seeing the thoughtful ways he was honored throughout the wedding was powerful and incredibly moving. It felt like he was right there celebrating with everyone. His presence was felt in the smiles, in the love, and in the quiet moments where memories speak louder than words.

This sneak peek only scratches the surface. Countless heartfelt images are still coming that show the laughter, the emotion, and the beautiful start to their marriage story. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Meyer. Your day was full of love that will only grow stronger with time and I am honored to have been the one to preserve it.
